We have camped here before. But the first time staying in a cabin. The cabin was everything I had hoped for in a cabin. The wood stove was perfect with an amazing view. The owners are fantastic.
I stayed at Fishpot Lake Resort for a few days for a work trip. The service was great and we really appreciated the little attentions from the owners, such as maintaining our fires while we were away. While there is limited electricity and wifi, the cabins had everything we needed as they have propane appliances. The cabins offer such beautiful views of Fishpot Lake. I hope to make it back in the summertime for a leisure trip.

Nice place, friendly people. Hot showers and warm, clean wood heated cabins. Wasnt here to fish but you see them jumping everywhere in the evening. Small store is well stocked and fair priced.

We were in search of a place that took us away from the modern hustle and bustle of texts, emails, and phone calls. We wanted a place where we could reconnect as a family, fishpot lake resort provided that. Nestled within the beauty of rolling hills and a beautiful lake we found our paradise. Few things I LOVED about fishpot; City people like me, this is a perfect place for us. The cabins come with everything you need in the kitchen as well as beding. Just pack food and clothes and head out there. No need to have a truck to haul everything. Want to fish, or just head out onto the lake.. They rent boats, canoe like ones with or without a motor. If you're brave there's places to hike, we went and had fun. Ensure you know how to use a compass or have something to guide you back. There's no trails. Yes, the surrounding area was effected by the 2017 forest fire and the area is healing. Mother nature and the forestry department are working hard growing greenery and replanting. Fishpot Lake resort is about 7 hour drive from Mission BC, but worth every minute to enjoy the beauty, scenery and the stars that come out at night makes the visit all worth the while. We will be back for sure, I already miss the beauty and tranquility and it's only been 5 hours. P.s hunters, in 2 years hunting will be great in that area again.
